Join us as we start from Pak Kung Au and tackle the reverse route of Lantau Trail Section 2 up to Sunset Peak. The silvergrass is just starting to turn — early golden hues emerging across the slopes, framed by sweeping Lantau sea views and the famous Lan Tau Camp stone huts. Catch the early preview of the silvergrass season! Starting at 340m elevation, you "win at the start" with less climbing. Perfect timing to enjoy the turning scenery while beating the mid-November crowds! 📅 Time: 31-Oct-2026, 2pm 📍 Route: Start from Pak Kung Au bus stop → return / loop back to Pak Kung Au 🥾 Difficulty: Intermediate (Stamina ★★★, Technique ★★☆; some ups, downs & loose gravel — take care) ⏱️ Duration: approx. 4 hours (around 4-5 km, including photos, silvergrass shots & rest) 🌾 **Silvergrass status: Just starting to turn — early golden hues (peak season mid-Nov to Dec; come early, fewer crowds)** 🌏 Cantonese, English & Mandarin all welcome — come hike and make friends!
