✨OPEN PLAY GUIDELINES✨ 🏓 MDPC MONDAY RANKINGS RULES & FORMAT Welcome to the Midnight Dinkers Monday Rankings! Players compete throughout the month, earn ranking points from their matches, and compete for the Monthly MVP title within their respective division. 🏆 SKILL DIVISIONS Players will be assigned according to MDPC Skill Assessment. 🏆 COMPETITIVE Established Low Intermediate • Intermediate • Advanced 🔥 CHALLENGER High Beginner • Developing Low Intermediate Players must remain within their assigned division during the session. 🎯 RANKING POINTS Win: +1 point Loss: −1 point Perfect Game (11–0): +3 bonus points Undefeated Session: +2 bonus points A player's total ranking score cannot go below 0. An 11–0 Perfect Game earns the regular +1 win point plus the +3 bonus, for +4 points total. 🔥 UNDEFEATED SESSION BONUS To receive the +2 bonus, a player must: • Complete at least 5 matches • Win all completed matches • Remain available for normal court rotation until the end of their registered playing period Deliberately stopping or withdrawing from rotation to preserve an undefeated record will forfeit the bonus. If a player needs to leave early, all regular points already earned will still count, but the Undefeated Session Bonus will not be awarded. 📊 MONTHLY RANKINGS Points accumulate across all Monday Ranking sessions within the month. Four separate leaderboards will be maintained: 🏆 Competitive — Men's 🏆 Competitive — Women's 🔥 Challenger — Men's 🔥 Challenger — Women's Each leaderboard will have one Monthly MVP. 👑 MONTHLY MVP ELIGIBILITY To qualify for Monthly MVP, a player must: ✓ Be an official MDPC member ✓ Participate in at least 3 Monday Ranking sessions within the month Non-members may participate and earn ranking points but are not eligible for the Monthly MVP title or reward. ⚖ TIEBREAKERS If two players finish with the same ranking points: 1st: Head-to-Head Record 2nd: Higher Overall Win Percentage 3rd: More Total Wins Head-to-head considers their matches against each other throughout the month. 🎁 MONTHLY MVP REWARD Each Monthly MVP receives: 🏅 4 FREE OPEN PLAYS Free OPs are: • Valid for the following month • Non-transferable • Not convertible to cash 🏟 COURT FORMAT 4 Courts • Maximum 40 Players Standard allocation: 🏆 Competitive — Courts 1 & 2 🔥 Challenger — Courts 3 & 4 Maximum target ratio is 10 players per court. If attendance between divisions is uneven, Time Blocks/Waves may be used to temporarily allocate an overflow court to the larger division. Each division maintains its own player queue, and players will not be transferred to another skill division simply to balance attendance. 📌 PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY Players are responsible for: • Checking their assigned division • Following the designated court/queue rotation • Reporting match results accurately • Maintaining good sportsmanship • Being ready when called for their next match MDPC organizers reserve the right to review division placement, ranking results, bonuses, and eligibility when necessary to maintain fair and organized play. 🌙 Play.
