Hantam Bolas is a Malay Language term meaning "Hit the Ball Hard" and it was a childhood game we played a lot growing up in Singapore in the 50s-60s. It resonates with club members because we are all of that similar age range and we play pickleball for the social aspect, the fun, and we can get competitive too as the name suggests!
