Each player's DUPR account must be connected to their Reclub profile. The misconception.... We've noticed that DUPR Open Play is often presented differently by various organizers. In many cases, the concept is over-simplified to "players are grouped strictly by their DUPR ratings". While that approach is easy to explain, it can create the misconception that DUPR numbers alone determine every matchup. Our philosophy is different... We believe DUPR is a valuable tool—NOT THE ENTIRE SYSTEM. Ratings provide an excellent starting point, but they cannot always reflect a player's current form, consistency, chemistry with partners, or the dynamics of a particular session. That's why we combine DUPR ratings with real-time observation and thoughtful court management to create the most balanced and enjoyable games possible.
