LADDER ROUND — QUALIFYING STAGE 💥 Two (2) pairs will compete in the first matchup. 💥 Each match will be played Race to 7 points. DEUCE NOT ALLOWED. 💥 After each match, the winning pair will split up, and each winner will team up with a new challenger from the next set of players. 💥 The goal is to win three (3) consecutive games as an individual player, regardless of your partner. 💥 Once a player achieves three (3) consecutive wins, they qualify as a Semifinalist. 💥 The process continues until eight (8) semifinalists have qualified. 2. SEMIFINALS — PARTNER SELECTION 💥 The first four (4) players to qualify will have the privilege of choosing their respective partners from the remaining four (4) semifinalists. 💥 Once all four (4) pairs are formed, the Semifinals will consist of two (2) separate matches: Match 1: Pair 1 vs. Pair 4 Match 2: Pair 2 vs. Pair 3 💥 Each match will be played Race to 11 points. DEUCE NOT ALLOWED. 💥 The winning pair from each match will advance to the Finals. 🏅 Only two (2) pairs will advance to the Finals. 3. FINALS — CHAMPIONSHIP 💥 The four (4) finalist players will be randomly paired again, breaking up their Semifinals partnerships. 💥 A roulette spin or draw lots will determine the new pairings. 💥 The match will be played Race to 15 points. 💥 Switch sides when the first pair reaches 7 points. 💥 DEUCE ALLOWED, with a maximum score of 21 points. If the score is tied at 15–15, play continues until a pair leads by two (2) points or reaches the 21-point cap. At 21 points, the first pair to reach 21 wins, regardless of the point difference. 🏆 The winning pair will be crowned the OPEN DOUBLES LADDER CHALLENGE COURT CHAMPIONS! 🔥🏅 📣 IMPORTANT REMINDERS • RPS OR COIN TOSS: For each matchup, Rock-Paper-Scissors (RPS) or a coin toss will determine which pair gets to choose between the first serve or court side. • PLAYERS' CALL: Respect the players' calls, especially when it comes to scoring. The audience must NOT intervene in scoring or line calls. • RECEIVER'S CALL: Always respect the receiver's call. Receivers are expected to make honest and fair calls. If the receiver is unsure whether the ball is IN or OUT, a RE-SERVE will take place. • SPORTSMANSHIP: Yelling and cussing are discouraged. Support and cheers are welcome, provided they do not disrupt gameplay. • QUARTERFINALS: All calls, including IN/OUT calls and foot faults, are the players' responsibility (players' call). • SEMIFINALS AND FINALS — TIMEOUT: Each pair is allowed only one (1) timeout per match, with a maximum duration of one (1) minute. • COACHES: Coaches are welcome to participate in the Open Doubles Ladder Challenger Court, but two coaches may not team up together. Each coach must partner with a non-coach player. 🏓 Let's keep the games competitive, fair, and fun.
