Welcome to the PICKLE-BOO! Halloween Mini Tournament happening on October 31 at 6:00 PM. Gather on the courts for an evening of competitive Halloween play where all 48 individual players will be matched via a live random draw prior to the games to form 24 pairs. TOURNAMENT FORMAT The 24 random pairs will be divided equally into 4 brackets with 6 pairs competing in each bracket. Following the group stage round-robin, the top 2 pairs from each bracket will advance to the Quarterfinals. Semifinal winners will move on to the Championship Match, while Semifinal losers will face off in a Battle for 3rd Place. MATCH & SCORING RULES All matches from the group stage through the Battle for 3rd Place will play a Race to 11 scoring system with a strict 15-minute time limit. If the timer expires before a pair reaches 11 points, the leading pair wins the game, or a single sudden-death point will be played if the score is tied at the buzzer. The Championship Match will be played as a full Race to 11 with no time limit. PRIZES & AWARDS Winners will take home custom tournament medals and a share of the 6,000 PHP total cash prize pool. The Champion pair will receive 3,000 PHP and medals, the 1st Runner-Up pair will receive 2,000 PHP and medals, and the 2nd Runner-Up pair will receive 1,000 PHP and medals.
