This will be a recurring weekly event every Thursday where we can stay active, meet new people, and enjoy friendly competition. 🏐🔥 To keep our games fun, fair, and organized, please read and follow the guidelines below. 1. 📅 EVENT SCHEDULE * Day: Every Thursday * Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM * Venue: Prisma Residences Basketball Court * Arrival: Please arrive before 6:00 PM so we can start on time. Schedules may change depending on court availability, weather, or other circumstances. Updates will be posted in the announcements group. 2. 💰 PAYMENT & REGISTRATION * Payment: ₱100 per person per event. * Please settle your payment before the event to confirm your slot. * Confirm your attendance through Reclub before sending payment. * Send your proof of payment to the organizer after transferring. * Please notify the organizer as early as possible if you can no longer attend. 📲 GCash Payment Details * Account Name: Ken Louise Nale * GCash Number: 09959120656 * Amount: ₱100 per person Where will excess funds go? Any excess funds collected after covering event expenses will be allocated to the volleyball community’s future needs, including: * 🏐 Purchasing new volleyballs and other equipment * 📊 Buying a scoreboard * 🏟️ Organizing future games and activities * 📅 Securing court reservations in advance The goal is to build a sustainable volleyball community with shared equipment and better-organized activities. Any use of excess funds will be for community volleyball purposes, with updates provided to participants for transparency. 3. 📝 REGISTRATION & PLAYER PRIORITY * Registration and attendance confirmation will be managed through Reclub. * Prisma Residence unit owners and tenants will have priority. * Non-residents are also welcome to join if slots remain available after resident registrations. * Available slots for non-residents will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to confirmation by the organizer. * Only confirmed players may participate. * Please inform the organizer in advance if you cannot attend so your slot can be offered to another player. 4. 🏐 GAME RULES & SCORING * First to 18 points wins. * No deuce: The first team to reach 18 points wins, even if the lead is only one point. * Rally scoring applies, meaning a point is awarded after every rally. * Players must respect the referee’s decisions. * Any disputes should be handled calmly and respectfully. * Matches must be completed within the available court time. 5. 🔄 TEAM ROTATION & MATCH FORMAT * Teams will be organized by the event organizer. * A round-robin format will be used whenever possible so every team gets the opportunity to play against every other team. * Teams must be ready when their match is called. * If a team is incomplete, the organizer may allow players to be borrowed from another team. * Match schedules and rotations may be adjusted depending on attendance and remaining court time. * Please cooperate with the assigned rotation to ensure everyone gets a fair opportunity to play. 6. 🧑‍⚖️ REFEREE, LINE JUDGES & SCOREKEEPING * Teams not currently playing may be assigned to provide line judges, a referee, and a scorekeeper. * Assignments will rotate fairly among teams. * The assigned team is responsible for helping the match run smoothly and recording scores correctly. * All players must respect the officials and their decisions. 7. 🤝 SPORTSMANSHIP & SAFETY * Respect all players regardless of skill level or experience. * No fighting, insulting, bullying, or unsportsmanlike behavior. * Avoid dangerous plays and respect other players’ personal space. * Warm up before playing and take breaks when needed. * Keep the court clean and take care of the facilities. * Report injuries or safety concerns to the organizer immediately. * Participation is voluntary, and everyone is responsible for playing within their abilities. 8. 🌧️ WEATHER, CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING * Games may be paused, shortened, cancelled, or rescheduled due to bad weather or unsafe court conditions. * The organizer will communicate changes as soon as possible. * If a booking is cancelled or interrupted, payment arrangements will be communicated based on the actual court booking and applicable charges. * Safety comes first. No match is worth risking anyone’s well-being. 9. 📢 COMMUNICATION & UPDATES * Reclub will be used for registration, attendance, and player organization. * The announcements group will be reserved for important updates. * Please check announcements before every game. * Use the designated volleyball group chat to discuss schedules, attendance, and upcoming activities. * Please communicate any concerns or suggestions respectfully. ⸻ ❤️ LET’S BUILD OUR VOLLEYBALL COMMUNITY!
