WELCOME TO AOURA OPEN PLAY™ This opening session marks the beginning of AOURA Open Play — a new Monday night experience designed to help you play more, meet the community and build the confidence to step into Friday Night Social. Whether you are still developing your game or simply want more time on court, Monday is where you can find your rhythm without the pressure of formal competition. Powered by CourtFlow™, players will move through structured and balanced rotations designed to create fair matchups, fresh partnerships and more opportunities to play. HOW OPEN PLAY WORKS • Players rotate through organised matches throughout the session. • CourtFlow™ helps balance playing time, partnerships and matchups. • Partners and opponents may change between rounds. • The session is social and development-focused. • Results do not contribute to an AOURA League or DUPR rating. • The purpose is simple: play more, build confidence and prepare for Friday Night Social. AOURA Open Play is suited to players who: • Want more consistent time on court • Are building confidence before joining Friday Night Social • Understand the basic rules and scoring of pickleball • Want relaxed but structured games • Enjoy meeting and playing with different members of the community You do not need to be an advanced or competitive player. You only need to be ready to play, rotate and contribute to a welcoming session. IMPORTANT VENUE REQUIREMENTS 👟 NON-MARKING INDOOR SHOES ARE COMPULSORY Only clean, non-marking indoor court shoes are permitted under Northside Badminton Centre venue policy. Outdoor shoes and non-compliant footwear will not be accepted. Players without suitable footwear will not be permitted on court. Indoor shoe hire is available from the venue for $6 per person, subject to availability. 🏓 BRING YOUR OWN PADDLE Please bring your own pickleball paddle. AOURA will provide pickleballs for match play. ARRIVAL Please arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in, footwear confirmation and the session briefing so games can begin on time. Start Monday.
