Open Play - Doubles Player Participation - Player should settle payment arrival to confirm the slot - Each player is guaranteed with 2 matches - Players will have a different partner in each match - Players will face different opponents in each match, whenever possible Player Readiness (2-minute grace period) - Players must be present and ready in the courtside when their match is called. A 2-minute grace period will be granted for players to report to the court. - If a player is not ready after 2 minutes: * The organizer may assign a substitute, or * The match may be declared a forfeit, at the organizer's discretion. - To keep the event on schedule, all players should be prepared before the preceding match concludes. Game Rules - A match is a Race to 6 games (A match is won by the first team to win 6 games.) - 1st Deuce is sudden death (No advantage scoring ("No-Ad") may be used to keep matches moving). At deuce (40-40), the receiving team chooses the receiver and the next point decides the game. - If the match score reaches 5–5, the next game will be the deciding game. The first team to win 6 games wins the match. No two-game advantage is required. - Players will switch court side after every odd-numbered game (1st, 3rd, 5th, etc.). Game Time Rules - Each match has a 40-minute cap. If time expires before a team reaches 6 games: * Team leading in games wins. * If tied, play one deciding point. - Players will be granted a 5-minute rally warm-up before each match Code of Conduct - Umpires and Designated Ballboys are responsible for making fair line calls. - If there is doubt, the ball should be called good. - Respect partners, opponents, and event staff. - Unsportsmanlike conduct may result in warnings, point penalties, or forfeiture.
