Game Format: Men's Singles (1 vs. 1) Player Category: Non-Rated (NR) only Scoring System: Rally Scoring (not side-out scoring) Game Target: First to 11 points Winning Rule: Sudden death at 11. No win-by-two. Match Recording: Eligible completed matches will be submitted to DUPR. 1. Determining the First Server: Players will determine the first server through Rock-Paper-Scissors. The first server starts from the right service court. 2. Rally Scoring A point is awarded after every rally, regardless of who serves. The player who wins the rally earns one point. If the receiver wins the rally, he earns a point and takes over the serve. Unlike traditional side-out scoring, players do not need to be serving to score a point. 3. Serving Position Serve from the right side when your score is even (0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10). Serve from the left side when your score is odd (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11). After a change of serve, the new server serves from the side corresponding to his own score. 4. Game-Winning Rule First player to reach 11 points wins. Sudden death at 11. No win-by-two. At 10–10, the next rally decides the winner. The player who wins that rally wins 11–10.
