DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) is the global pickleball skill rating system that scores players on a 2.000–8.000 scale using real match results, opponent strength, score margin, and recency. It is the official rating used by major pickleball tours and millions of players worldwide. With DUPR, we can better classify players according to their skill ratings, helping create more balanced and competitive matches. If players want to compete against higher-level opponents, they need to improve their skills and increase their DUPR ratings. Otherwise, they should play within their current rating range to ensure fair and enjoyable games for everyone.
