🏓 PICKLEBALL OPEN PLAY GAME MECHANICS 1. WHO CAN JOIN?
• Open to The Pump Lab members and non-members
• Beginners, intermediate, and experienced players are welcome
• Players may join solo or with friends
• No previous pickleball experience required 2. OPEN PLAY FORMAT
• Players will be assigned to courts upon arrival.
• Games are played in doubles format (2 vs. 2).
• Players rotate after each game to give everyone a chance to play with different players.
• Court assignments and rotation will be managed by the event facilitator. 3. GAME FORMAT
• Games are played to 11 points.
• A team must win by 2 points.
• Rally scoring may be used to keep games moving and maximize playing time.
• If there are many players waiting, the next group will rotate in after the current game. 4. COURT ETIQUETTE
• Be respectful and encouraging, especially toward beginners.
• Call your own shots and scores honestly.
• Avoid unnecessary delays between games.
• Return balls to the proper area after playing.
• Follow the facilitator's rotation system. 5. WHAT'S INCLUDED

Never played pickleball before? No worries! Our Open Play is designed to be beginner-friendly. The facilitator will explain the basic rules and help you get started. 8. IMPORTANT
• Players must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for registration and orientation.
• Please observe proper sportsmanship and safety at all times.
• Players participate at their own risk.
• The Pump Lab reserves the right to adjust court assignments and rotation depending on the number of participants. Limited slots available. Registration is required.
