"Doos Salim is the kind of padel partner who makes you question your own life choices, in a good way. Let’s start with the serve: strong, confident, and just aggressive enough to make opponents reconsider why they signed up for the match in the first place. It sets the tone early this is not going to be a casual hit-around. Now, at first glance, you might think he’s taking unnecessary risks… and you’d be right except somehow, most of the time, it actually works. What looks like chaos is, in fact, a man operating on a higher tactical frequency. Calculated risks? Absolutely. Slightly stressful to watch? Also yes. Positioning-wise, he knows exactly where to be. It’s like he’s got a built-in GPS for the court always in the right spot, cutting angles, and making life difficult for the opposition. And then there’s the movement. Surprisingly quick for his size, he covers the court like someone who definitely did not skip leg day (or maybe just hides it well). You think you’ve hit a winner, and suddenly there he is. Overall, an absolute delight to play with. Competitive, entertaining, and just unpredictable enough to keep things interesting. Would happily have him on my side again… mainly because I wouldn’t want to play against him."
